International Orders
Any duties and taxes for international shipments are at the cost of the customer. Base2Designs is not responsible for any extra charges once the original package has been shipped. If the customer refuses to pay these extra charges, the return shipping and any additional fees will be taken out of the cost of the order, and any remaining funds will be refunded to the customer.
Damages
We carefully inspect every item before shipping. Thus all damage claims must be made to the shipping carrier. Although we will assist you as much as we can in the damage claim process we will not be responsible for the outcome of the claim. It is the responsibility of the buyer to handle all damage claims directly with the shipping company. Base2Designs cannot be held liable for any damages incurred during shipping.
Shipping
We ship purchases immediately after confirmation of credit and depending on availability of product. Purchases are shipped via UPS Ground Services unless otherwise specified.
Returns
- All returns must be authorized by an RMA Number. Email returns@base2designs-store.com for authorization number before shipping back any merchandise. Please include your name, phone number and order number in your email request.
- All source code products are not returnable and sold 'as-is'.
- Returns for any unaffected development board, programmer, tools, and cables permitted within 14 days from the date of receipt of merchandise. After such time, all sales are considered final. Returns of wrong ordered items are allowed. What is unaffected? If you hooked it to power, you affected it. Because of the nature of the products we deal with (prototyping electronic tools) we cannot allow returns of items that have been programmed, powered up, or otherwise changed post shipment from our warehouse. Returned merchandise will be accepted only if all conditions a, b, & c (see below) are met.
- Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. We are not responsible for any shipping charges of merchandise being returned to us.
- All returned merchandise must be in its original mint and clean condition. Returns on damaged, scratched, programmed, burnt, or otherwise 'played with' merchandise will not be accepted.
- All returns must include all the factory accessories which come with the item. This includes any In-Circuit-Serial-Programming cables.
- With your return, enclose this original receipt or a copy of it. Also include a brief letter of explanation of why the merchandise is being returned and state your request for either a refund or an exchange. Include the authorization number on this letter, and on the outside of the shipping box.
- If any item arrives damaged due to shipping, immediately contact the carrier. Keep all shipping cartons, and email Base2Designs immediately.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities. Pictures are for illustration purposes only. We are not responsible for typographical errors.
